The Square Roots BIRTHMARK initiative partners with cities and companies to engage local cross-sector leaders in a joint commitment to improve maternal health and wellness that will set a pregnancy wellness standard in the United States.

Through a combination of educational programming and direct engagement with key stakeholders, cities implement public initiatives to help expectant mothers reduce stress and improve health outcomes throughout their pregnancies.

BIRTHMARK Cities will engage with local innovators from both the public and private sectors to ensure workplace environments have the resources and knowledge needed to provide better support for expectant mothers.
